First off...

No Practice July 4th!

We hope to see everyone at MSC for the big July 3rd party!

Swimsuits/Merch: If you ordered a new “MSC” swimsuit and have not received it yet - contact one of the swim coordinators. Likewise, we have some MSC merch that was purchased through our Swimtopia site that is not yet picked up. 

**Please note, this is different from the MSC clothing sale by Three Little Fishes.

July 11 - Coach Lucas from FAST  is running morning practices/stroke clinic. He is a seasoned coach for our local club swim team, FAST (Franklin Area Swim Team).  If you child enjoys competitive swimming or wants to get better at all 4 strokes, FAST is a great way to help them reach their goals during the school year! Practices are out of the FR Middle School pool and it runs from Sept through April/May. Children are grouped by age/ability and meets are optional. If you have any questions from a parent perspective, all 3 of us have had our kids swim for FAST and can be a resource for you as well.

Swim Banquet: Sunday July 27th form 4-7pm. Click on the Signup genius to RSVP for your family. There is a $20 per family cost and we will cover the rest in team funds. Catering by Moe’s Southwest Grille and Desserts. There will be an end of season slideshow, swimming and awards! 

RSVP as soon as possible so we can get an accurate head count for food!

CHAMPS: Championships will be here soon at the end of July - These are held at Forest Hills Swim Club, Saturday July 26th. The top swimmers from each age group and stroke are selected by coach (based on your availability) to represent MSC. Forest Hills does a Champs T-shirt presale with only very few available for purchase the day of the event. The Future Coordinators.... A few people have expressed interest in our Swim Coordinator positions next year. There is still time if you want more information on this fun and rewarding position at our club. Let us know soon if you’re definitely “IN” for this position. As always, if you need more info on the role/responsibilities we are happy to share - and all of us will be around to help you next summer with the transition!
