MSC dominated the Mini Meet!!

Congrats to our amazing and brave 8 & under swimmers! You really shined today and showed everyone how amazing our swim program is here at MSC!!

I have attached the score sheet totals to this email.  All of the ribbons are in the box from the meet.  If you are missing a ribbon, check the score sheet - some swimmers "DQ" (disqualified) on the strokes if they touched the bottom during their event or messed up the stroke somehow. **Meadowink has yet to give us all of the ribbons from our meet last week

F.A.S.T. (Franklin Area Swim Team)

A big reason why MSC has a competitive and successful team is due to our high percentage of swimmers that participate in FAST during the Fall and Winter months.

**We highly encourage looking into this for your child if they are loving swim team and want to get better and learn more strokes! It keeps them improving and not "forgetting" all the progress they have made this summer!

FAST is holding a Stroke Clinic (run by Coach Lucas who was at practice last week). It will be held at MSC on August 7-10, from 9am-10am. 

The cost is $75 for this stroke clinic. At the end, if you child wants to continue with FAST swim practices during the school year, they will be placed in their ability level (Bronze-Silver-Gold).  

Practices take place at the Franklin Regional Middle School pool from September through March. For example, Bronze typically meets M-W-F from 6:30-7:15pm (*obviously this may be subject to change)  Make as many practices as you can.  There are meets offered with FAST but these are additional ($5 per event, etc) and optional.

PRACTICE REMINDER!!

ONLY CHAMPS swimmers will practice this week!

There will be one combined practice for ALL AGES - 9:30-10:30am

**You will be notified if your swimmer was selected for Champs and/or Battle of the Borders by Sunday night. We will send a push notification over Swimtopia when all of the selection emails have been sent out.
