Tuesday 6/27 - HOME meet vs Park Swim Club

Arrive between 4:30 - 5pm. Warmups at 5:30. Meet starts at 6:30 (hopefully). 

**Check in with Coach upon arrival. Write events on arms. 

**There is a high chance of rain tomorrow night. 

YES, still show up ready to swim and check in with coach… 

YES we swim in the rain 

and YES we still have food prepped so come hungry!! 

The meet will NOT be cancelled until 7pm, and only in the case of thunderstorms. 

We will have tents set up for the kids, feel free to bring additional if you wish. 

**We recommend car pooling and grabbing dinner from the concession stand before waiting out rain in your car (if necessary)! 

**If there is rain, we get through all of the “scoring” events first, to complete the meet. Non-scoring/exhibition events like Event 0 or the alternates for events # 9-10-11-12 will happen at the END of the meet, as long as weather holds out.

*When your child is in a relay, they MUST stay at the edge of the pool to cheer on the remaining swimmers in their relay. Multiple kids (including my own) were walking away after swimming in the 1-2-3 spots of a relay. 

*4th swimmers in a relay - STAY IN THE WATER in your lane until ALL lanes have completed the event. Reach across the ropes to shake hands or fist bump your competitors and THEN exit the water. 

*All swim team members are instructed to stay on the grassy area in front of the deck to be found by the kid wranglers, however, we also encourage the kids that are awaiting their events on the edge of the pool to CHEER FOR THEIR TEAMMATES!!! …and not just for the last 2 events. We would love to see that end-of-meet energy all meet long.

**Fancy Fox orders are in! Pick them up during practice! 

**If you ordered a Women’s tank - Fancy Fox has sizes S, L, XL, 2X on backorder. They initially promised we would have them by the end of June. If this changed and they are further delayed, we will be contacting you directly to discuss refund vs other options. Visors also were not included in our initial pickup order; we are not sure why. As soon as we hear rom Fancy Fox we will get them to you or give you an update!

************************************************************************************************* AWAY MEET - Thursday at Rosedale Beach Club in Verona 

Pool address: 5407 3rd St, Verona, PA 15147 

- Parking is tight (as it is at every club) - consider carpooling or arriving early. 

- Arrival time by 5:30pm - WARMUPS at 6:00pm. Meet starts at 6:30. 

Same rules apply with rain. Check in with coach and then may wait in car, grab food. 

- See map on were to park/sit and where the swimmers will congregate. If there is no more room near the pool to sit, you may put your chairs on the grassy area near the swimmers and walk up to the pool to watch for your kid’s events.
